Basic Instructions
- Use the sample import documents below as a template to format your data files in the appropriate format.

- Open the appropriate sample spreadsheets.
- Paste in the data for the columns that you have.
- Re-save the document using your campus name. For example, MyHighSchool_Students.csv.
- Attach the spreadsheets to an email to import@MySatori.com with "MyCampus—MySchool District import" in the subject line.

IMPORTING INSTRUCTORS AND/OR STUDENTS
You can use one or two spreadsheets as long as all of the information is included. If you use two spreadsheets, please include the following information:
- Teachers: Required Fields: InstructorID, Password, First Name, MI, Last Name
- Students: Required Fields: UserID, Password, First Name, MI, Last Name, Grade, Birthday*
NOTE: If the ID is missing we will use FirstLast by default, i.e., JohnDoe.
IMPORTING GROUPS/CLASSES
If you would like to have the classes imported, the following spreadsheets are needed with the required information:
- Teachers: InstructorID, Password, First Name, MI, Last Name
- Classes: Class name, InstructorID, and optionally a list of titles used by that Class. (see Title_List.xls for title names)
- Students: UserID, Password, First, MI, Last Name, Grade,Birthday*, Groups (Classes)\
NOTE: The InstructorID in the Classes spreadsheet must match exactly with the InstructorID in the Teachers spreadsheet. Also class names in the Students spreadsheet must match exactly with those in the Class spreadsheet. Multiple classes can be put in the group column by delimiting with the pipe (|).

Groups

Groups/Classes to place the User in. This is a list of one or more groups separated by “|”. (This is typically called the “pipe” character and is above the return key.) The default group “school” must be included in this list. The names of the groups you include here must exactly match the names of existing groups names or the names of the groups in the group import file. If you do not have any groups created then only put the “school” group here. The “|” character is only between group names, not at the beginning or end.
