How much does MySatori™ cost?

Is MySatori difficult to set up?
We import all of your students and teachers for you and set up a server for your school's use; default assignments are also included. All you need to get started is give each student an assignment and watch them go. Of course, you can also create your own assignments and goals for the students as well.
Do we need to install anything on our server or student computers?
No. Because MySatori™ is web-based, all you need is an Internet connection and a web browser.
Can we use any web browser?
You may be able to use any browser, however we only support its usage on the following browsers:
On a PC—Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox
On a Mac—Safari and Firefox
Use with other browsers may be unpredictable and we cannot provide tech support to solve problems caused by using an unsupported browser.
Can I create reports and make assignment from home?
Absolutely. All you need is a computer with Internet access and a supported browser (see above), your user id, and password.
Can my students use MySatori™ at home?
Yes! This one of the great things about a web-based system: it can be accessed anywhere there is an Internet connection. However, you cannot exceed the number of seats you purchase for any given title; for example, if you purchase 100 seats of 3rd grade math), then no more than 100 students will be able to use that title at the same time whether they are at home or at school. If a student attempts to sign in when all of the seats for that title are already "full," they will simply see a message to try again later.
How many teachers can use MySatori™ at the same time?
Only users that are actually working an assignment are counted as using a seat. The number of users that can concurrently perform administrative activities is unlimited.
How many students can use MySatori™ at the same time?
This depends on the number of seats you purchase. Please see "What are seats and how many do we need?" below.
Can parents buy MySatori™ for their kids to use at home even if their school does not own it?

What are "seats" and how many do we need?
A seat is one concurrent user of a title (one grade of one subject). You will need to decide how many students will need to be able to use a MySatori™ title at one time. For example, if you foresee as many as 100 students using 4th grade math at the same time, then you need to purchase 100 seats of 4th grade math. Keep in mind as well if you intend for your students to do assignments at home.
NOTE: You can have an unlimited number of students enrolled in MySatori™. Students are only counted as a concurrent user (seat) when they are logged in and working an assignment.
Can we purchase additional seats if our needs change?
Yes, you can add additional seats at any time.
Do we have to pay the setup fee?
Unless you have taken advantage of a special offer as an Incredible Tutor™ Annual Maintenance Agreement enrollee, then you do need to pay the setup fee. This covers the setup of a server for your school's use as well as the import of all of your student and teacher information.
How do we purchase MySatori™?

Switching from Incredible Tutor™
How does MySatori™ compare to Incredible Tutor™?
MySatori™ uses the same exceptional content as our Incredible Tutor™ software. However, because it is web-based there is no installation required; we set up your students and teachers and you simply log in to a web page to get started.
If modifications are required in our content, we make the changes and they appear in MySatori™ with no work required from you. We make the same changes to Incredible Tutor™; however, you need to run the update application that installed with your software in order for those changes to take effect on your campus.
Additionally, with MySatori™ multiple teachers and lab managers may access management features at the same time, whereas Manage IT!®, the management utility for Incredible Tutor™, allows only one person to log in at a time.
Beyond all of these things, MySatori™ is very different. From the all-new interface and infrastructure to the ease of access from anywhere, MySatori™ has been designed to make the job of learning and teaching easier and more efficient.
Do we have to stop using Incredible Tutor™ after we start using MySatori™?
No. If you want to continue using Incredible Tutor™ (for example, on computers that lack Internet access) you may do so for as long as you like.
You will not be able to manage Incredible Tutor™ usage with MySatori™. We are making it easy for existing customers using Manage IT!® to move their students and classes to MySatori™. However, once the information has been moved, no information from Incredible Tutor™ or Manage IT!® will be shared with MySatori™ or vice versa.
Updates to Content
If there are changes to the TAKS/FCAT, will my MySatori™ content be outdated?
We keep a close eye on changes to the tests and state standards. We will make necessary changes to content as they are needed and those changes will appear in the program with no effort on your part.
Solutions for Use at Home
I want to help my child at home. Do you have anything for home use?
If your school owns MySatori™ licenses, then your student will be able to work school assignments at their home computer (if allowed by the teacher).
